National Center for Police Defense extends heartfelt condolences to slain Euclid Police Officer, Offers Support

“We are deeply saddened and outraged by the cowardly ambush and killing of Euclid police officer Jacob Derbin on Saturday night,” National Center for Police Defense President Jim Fotis said in a statement. “Officer Derbin was a dedicated and brave member of law enforcement, committed to serving and protecting his community. His senseless murder is a tragic reminder of the dangers that our law enforcement officers face every day.”

National Center for Police Defense extends our heartfelt condolences to Officer Derbin’s family and fiancé, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. We stand in solidarity with the Euclid Police Department and all law enforcement agencies as they mourn the loss of one of their own. “We offer our continued support and assistance, as well as thoughts and prayers from our grassroots community across the nation,” Fotis continued.

This heinous act of violence against a police officer underscores the continued “War on Cops” and the urgent need for continued support and respect for those who put their lives on the line to keep our communities safe.
